New Dutch Representative

Page4c238New Dutch Representative Marsie Jonkers (left) was introduced to members of St. Maarten?s community and outgoing Representative Lars Walrave (second left) said farewell during a reception at Pasanggrahan Royal Guesthouse Thursday evening. Jonkers looks forward to his new challenge after having worked with the Ministry of Interior Affairs and Kingdom Relations for the past 13 years. He was also attached to the office of former Commissioner for Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba Henk Kamp. He is joined in St. Maarten by his wife Jeanine Poldervaart and three children. As they settle in, Walrave heads back to the Netherlands to join his wife and family there. Also present are Ombudsman Nilda Arduin-Lynch, her Secretary General Patricia Philips, Vice Chairwoman of the Advisory Council Mavis Brooks-Salmon, Dutch Representative in Cura�ao Rob Vermaas and Head of the General Audit Chamber Roland Tuitt.
