The sales or serving of beer at the R. Premadasa stadium for the Australian – Pakistan cricket match this Saturday will not be allowed as the match is being played on a Poya day, Inspector General of Police Mahinda Balasuriya said.
He said consumption of beer too in the stadium will not be allowed.
“People will have to respect the law as on Poya days sale of liquor is prohibited," he said.
