Into Its 13th Year: The Palestine Chronicle Still Growing. Please Help Us Bring Balance to the Media

"The Palestine Chronicle has been an invaluable source of information and analysis about Palestine and related issues, drawing from a wide range of sources, including many that are otherwise inaccessible to the concerned public. An independent voice, it has been trustworthy and reliable. I hope that you will contribute to helping this unique publication to flourish." -- Noam Chomsky is professor emeritus of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is an honorary editorial board member of the Palestine Chronicle.

Dear Faithful Readers

Today, the Palestine Chronicle celebrated its 12th birthday. It’s a milestone in our dedicated effort to push Palestine back to the core of international media. We have succeeded in ways that we never expected, as the Palestine Chronicle has grown to become one of the most read and respected media voices on this subject anywhere.

It’s not an overstatement to say that without you, the Palestine Chronicle would have folded years ago. Our strategy was simple: to place our trust in you, our readers. The result has been heartwarming: the Palestine Chronicle did more than survive, but flourished to the point that we supply many other outlets of balanced daily (and free) commentary about Palestine. Our numerous writers throughout the years took their message further, writing books, touring, lecturing and becoming most visible media personalities.

The Chronicle has become more than an online publication, but a media network in its own right. For that, we thank you very much.

But tomorrow is another day, and we have every intention (and reason) to stand our ground. The media battle is just getting more heated; the misinformation, disinformation and lies are more focused than ever, and the Palestine Chronicle must remain in the media trenches, bringing balance, sensibility and truthful narrative to the world. Over half a million readers a month learn such truth through our publication; many more readers are exposed to our content through affiliated publications the world over.

We are excited about where we stand right now, and equally determined to carry on with our work, and our mission.

If you feel that the Palestine Chronicle has played a leading role in dispelling media myths, and providing balanced and critical coverage of the situation in Palestine, we urge you to make a contribution to our publication right away.

We are eager to put all of our focus back into our work, but we must receive your support to keep the Palestine Chronicle available to thousands of readers on a daily basis.

Please take the time to support the Palestine Chronicle during these critical times.

Your help and solidarity are greatly appreciated.

Thank you from all of us

"In the midst of an institutional media bias against telling the searing truth about Palestine, the Palestine Chronicle is a beacon. History, witness, analysis and ways forward are here, written with authority and humanity. Long may it publish." -- John Pilger is a world-renowned journalist, author and documentary filmmaker.
