The Cabinet on a proposal by Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena has agreed to expand and strengthen the present investigation unit of the Ministry in association with the categories of officers serving under the Ministry.
“The ministry gets large number of complaints with regard to shortcomings in the learning and teaching processes, covering syllabuses properly in time, maintaining discipline among students, academic and non- academic staff, admitting students to schools, Financial and physical resources control”, a statement regarding the cabinet decision said.
