Violence continues unabated in Syria. The regime's forces Wednesday stormed the rebel city Hama and bombed an oil pipeline in Homs, according to activists.
Meanwhile, the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad issued a decree setting February 26 to hold a referendum on a draft constitution prepared by a special commission. The main article limits the presidential term to two seven-year period. The second term of Bashar al-Assad is due for completion in 2014.
