PHILIPSBURG--Prime Minister Sarah Wescot-Williams (Democratic Party ? DP) will meet with Dutch Minister of Interior Affairs and Kingdom Relations Piet Hein Donner this afternoon on the quarterly progress reports of the Plans of Approach.
Donner also will meet separately with Deputy Minister Theo Heyliger (United People's ? UP ? party) and Justice Minister Roland Duncan.
Falling under the Plans of Approach are the Ministry of General Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Public Housing, Spatial Development, Environment and Infrastructure. Progress reports on these ministries are prepared by the ministry officials and then are vetted by the progress committee on which St. Maarten is represented by former Netherlands Antilles Minister attorney Richard Gibson.
This meeting between Wescot-Williams and Donner will cover the reports for the second quarter of this year. The two officials met on the first quarter report on June 21.
