Four persons were taken into custody in connection with the attempted alleged sale of 507 fake gold nuggets.

The suspects who were arrested at a check point in Hungama earlier today had claimed that the nuggets were part of a treasure find from an ancient location, police said.
Investigators later found out that the so-called gold nuggets were in fact rugged iron cut-outs that had been cleverly camouflaged with gold colouring.
The Hungama Police are conducting further investigations
