Recent data published by the UAE's Federal Customs Authority has indicated a continued growth of foreign trade in non-oil products until October. This trade recorded a rise of 11.5% during the first ten months of 2010 compared with the same period in 2009.
The data indicated a rise in the total value of non-oil foreign trade during that period from Dh 543.2 billion (US$148 billion) in the first ten months of 2009 to Dh605.4 billion (some US$65 billion) in the same period of 2010, up Dh62 billion.
