Etihad Airways and Airberlin announce major capacity increases for Abu Dhabi and a new service to Phuket

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and airberlin, Europe?s sixth biggest carrier, today announced a significant increase in services between Abu Dhabi and both Germany and Thailand. 

This follows December?s historic announcement that Etihad Airways had become airberlin?s largest single shareholder, and airberlin?s commencement of a four-per-week service between Berlin and Abu Dhabi on January 15.
