Prime Minister Saad Hariri's press office confirmed today all the points that circulated in the media concerning the compromise and the efforts displayed by Qatar and Turkey on the basis of Saudi-Syrian path. However, Hariri's press office stressed that the details of a settlement on the international tribunal were only partly made public and said that the caretaker premier hadn't signed on the clauses of the agreement.Later on, Berri's press office snapped back at Hariri's press office, stressing that "a national salvation government; the full implementation of the Taef Accord; abiding to the Doha Accord; and the implementation of the national dialogue resolutions" were the Opposition's demands, not the Hariri-led camp's.""Enough exploiting the issue of defending the premiership and the interests and his followers," Berri's press office said.On the other hand, Mr. Hariri's press bureau indicated that it sees no advantage to answer the communiqu published by the Press Office of the speaker Nabih Berri, especially that certain comments " has focused on the financial plunder, which has been ongoing for more than two decades."The statement added that Berri's press office was influenced by the literature of those who were prejudiced against the late Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, and by the period when he was supposed to have been one of the former Hariri's main pillars."Hariri?s press office concluded by hoping that such communiqu said by Mr. Berri "would be the last of a style that is no longer aspired for." |
