A volunteer attached to Sri Lankan Cricket who allegedly sold tickets for matches at exorbitant rates has been arrested by the Colombo Crime Division, Police sources said.
The volunteer had been arrested following a complaint.
He was found with 60 tickets in his possession for the upcoming matches.
He is alleged to have sold Rs. 50 tickets at Rs. 1,350.
Police are investigating whether they were forged tickets or�whether he had taken the tickets from SLC in an illegal manner.
