Israel worried by Egyptian calls to cancel peace treaty

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed concern of the calls being raised in Egypt for the abolition of the peace treaty with Israel. According to the Israeli media, Netanyahu's statements came Wednesday during a meeting in Jerusalem with a delegation of members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate, headed by U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.

The visit comes as part of a tour by the delegation which will also take its members to Egypt, aimed at discussing the latest developments in the region.
