The former Deputy Minister of Planning Ratne Deshapriya Senanayake passed away at his home in Borella on Friday evening. He was the brother of the late Dharmasiri Senanayake who served in the Cabinet of President Chandrika Kumaratunga’s People’s Alliance (PA) Government in the late 1990’s. The funeral is to be held today at 4.00 pm at Kanatte in Borella.
